Russia intends to leave the project of the International Space Station

Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov on the TV channel "Russia 1" in the program "Moscow. The Kremlin. Putin " said that Russia is going to withdraw from the International Space Station (ISS) project from 2025. According to him, the Russian side intends to notify its international partners about its decision.

It is noted that in this regard, Russia plans to start creation of the new national space station.

This decision was made on April 12, the Day of astronautics, at a meeting with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
